  • Lila has been in the studio putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming CD, and her much anticipated new, powerful single "That's What Angels Do" has been released to Country Radio. 

  • According to Soundscan records, Lila McCann's total sales to date are more than 1.5 million. Lila's debut CD, Lila , went "platinum" with more than one million units sold behind the hit songs "Down Came A Blackbird" and "I Wanna Fall In Love." Something In The Air , her sophomore CD sold more than 500,000 units and was certified "gold."

  • Lila has an endorsement deal with Daisy Rock Guitars and established the Lila McCann Scholarship Fund , with a donation from L'OREAL.
  • Lila's single, "With You," was a #1 music video on CMT.
  • Lila's made numerous national TV appearances including a profile on "Good Morning America," two appearances on "Regis & Kathie Lee" as well as having a part written for her for a "Walker Texas Ranger" episode where she did a great acting job and sang on the show.
  • Lila was hailed by Time magazine as 1997's "Most Successful New Artist" and received rave reviews from People magazine.
  • Even with her busy schedule, Lila always makes time to participate with charities. Some of these include: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , My Friend's Place for homeless young people, Vanderbilt Children's Research Hospital , T.J. Martell Foundation, The Weingart Center and the Todd M. Beamer Foundation.
  • Lila was selected by Teen People magazine as one of the "20 Teens Who Will Change The World."
  • CBS' 48 Hours featured her twice as an outstanding member of The Class of 2000."
  • Lila's first national tour as a main stage performer was the George Strait Country Music Festival along with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Lee Ann Womack.
  • Lila contributed "To Get Me To You" written by hit maker Dianne Warren, to the Hope Floats soundtrack .
  • Hobbies include traveling, acting, snowboarding, taking care of her pets and her blue VW bug
